Ephesians 1:3-14

NAS 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, NIV 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. NAS 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love NIV 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love NAS 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, NIV 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- NAS 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. NIV 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. NAS 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace NIV 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace NAS 8 which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight NIV 8 that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. NAS 9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him NIV 9 And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, NAS 10 with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him NIV 10 to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. NAS 11 also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, NIV 11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, NAS 12 to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. NIV 12 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. NAS 13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation -having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, NIV 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, NAS 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory. NIV 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.
