8 Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to show <em>it</em> unto Esther and to declare <em>it</em> unto her and to charge her that she should go in unto the king to make supplication unto him and to make request before him for her people.
8 He also gave him a copy of the text of the edict for their annihilation, which had been published in Susa, to show to Esther and explain it to her, and he told him to instruct her to go into the king’s presence to beg for mercy and plead with him for her people.
