Exodus 19:1-5

NLT 1 Exactly two months after the Israelites left Egypt, they arrived in the wilderness of Sinai. NIV 1 In the third month after the Israelites left Egypt--on the very day--they came to the Desert of Sinai. NLT 2 After breaking camp at Rephidim, they came to the wilderness of Sinai and set up camp there at the base of Mount Sinai. NIV 2 After they set out from Rephidim, they entered the Desert of Sinai, and Israel camped there in the desert in front of the mountain. NLT 3 Then Moses climbed the mountain to appear before God. The called to him from the mountain and said, “Give these instructions to the family of Jacob; announce it to the descendants of Israel: NIV 3 Then Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain and said, "This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: NLT 4 ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians. You know how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. NIV 4 'You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. NLT 5 Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. NIV 5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,
