Exodus 21:12-17

NRS 12 Whoever strikes a person mortally shall be put to death. NIV 12 "Anyone who strikes a man and kills him shall surely be put to death. NRS 13 If it was not premeditated, but came about by an act of God, then I will appoint for you a place to which the killer may flee. NIV 13 However, if he does not do it intentionally, but God lets it happen, he is to flee to a place I will designate. NRS 14 But if someone willfully attacks and kills another by treachery, you shall take the killer from my altar for execution. NIV 14 But if a man schemes and kills another man deliberately, take him away from my altar and put him to death. NRS 15 Whoever strikes father or mother shall be put to death. NIV 15 "Anyone who attacks his father or his mother must be put to death. NRS 16 Whoever kidnaps a person, whether that person has been sold or is still held in possession, shall be put to death. NIV 16 "Anyone who kidnaps another and either sells him or still has him when he is caught must be put to death. NRS 17 Whoever curses father or mother shall be put to death. NIV 17 "Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.
