NIV 1 "Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim worked into them by a skilled craftsman. TMB 2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; and every one of the curtains shall have one measure. NIV 2 All the curtains are to be the same size--twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide. TMB 3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another, and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another. NIV 3 Join five of the curtains together, and do the same with the other five. TMB 4 And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvage in the coupling, and likewise shalt thou do on the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second. NIV 4 Make loops of blue material along the edge of the end curtain in one set, and do the same with the end curtain in the other set. TMB 5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make on the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second, that the loops may take hold one to another. NIV 5 Make fifty loops on one curtain and fifty loops on the end curtain of the other set, with the loops opposite each other. TMB 6 And thou shalt make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains together with the clasps; and it shall be one tabernacle. NIV 6 Then make fifty gold clasps and use them to fasten the curtains together so that the tabernacle is a unit. TMB 7 "And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle; eleven curtains shalt thou make. NIV 7 "Make curtains of goat hair for the tent over the tabernacle--eleven altogether. TMB 8 The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; and the eleven curtains shall be all the same measure. NIV 8 All eleven curtains are to be the same size--thirty cubits long and four cubits wide. TMB 9 And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain at the forefront of the tabernacle. NIV 9 Join five of the curtains together into one set and the other six into another set. Fold the sixth curtain double at the front of the tent. TMB 10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second. NIV 10 Make fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in one set and also along the edge of the end curtain in the other set. TMB 11 "And thou shalt make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. NIV 11 Then make fifty bronze clasps and put them in the loops to fasten the tent together as a unit. TMB 12 And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. NIV 12 As for the additional length of the tent curtains, the half curtain that is left over is to hang down at the rear of the tabernacle. TMB 13 And a cubit on the one side and a cubit on the other side, of that which remaineth of the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side to cover it. NIV 13 The tent curtains will be a cubit longer on both sides; what is left will hang over the sides of the tabernacle so as to cover it. TMB 14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins. NIV 14 Make for the tent a covering of ram skins dyed red, and over that a covering of hides of sea cows. TMB 15 "And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing upright.
