1 Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall separate a lot for the LORD of the land which ye shall consecrate: the length shall be the length of twenty-five thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand. This shall be holy in all its borders round about.
1 “ ‘When you allot the land as an inheritance, you are to present to the LORD a portion of the land as a sacred district, 25,000 cubits long and 20,000 cubits wide; the entire area will be holy.
2 Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred in length, with five hundred in breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits round about for its suburbs.
2 Of this, a section 500 cubits square is to be for the sanctuary, with 50 cubits around it for open land.
3 And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of twenty-five thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand; and in it shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place.
3 In the sacred district, measure off a section 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide. In it will be the sanctuary, the Most Holy Place.
4 The holy portion of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which are chosen to minister unto the LORD; and it shall be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.
4 It will be the sacred portion of the land for the priests, who minister in the sanctuary and who draw near to minister before the LORD. It will be a place for their houses as well as a holy place for the sanctuary.
5 And another twenty-five thousand of length, and the ten thousand of breadth, shall also the Levites, the ministers of the house, have for themselves, for a possession, with twenty chambers.
5 An area 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide will belong to the Levites, who serve in the temple, as their possession for towns to live in.
6 And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and twenty-five thousand long, in front of that which was separated for the sanctuary; it shall be for the whole house of Israel.
6 “ ‘You are to give the city as its property an area 5,000 cubits wide and 25,000 cubits long, adjoining the sacred portion; it will belong to all Israel.
7 And the portion of the prince shall be on the one side and on the other side of that which was separated for the sanctuary, and next to the possession of the city, in front of that which was separated for the sanctuary, and in front of the possession of the city, from the west corner westward, unto the east corner eastward: and the length shall be from one side to the other, from the west corner unto the east corner.
7 “ ‘The prince will have the land bordering each side of the area formed by the sacred district and the property of the city. It will extend westward from the west side and eastward from the east side, running lengthwise from the western to the eastern border parallel to one of the tribal portions.
8 He shall have this land for possession in Israel: and my princes shall no longer oppress my people; but they shall give the land unto the house of Israel according to their tribes.
8 This land will be his possession in Israel. And my princes will no longer oppress my people but will allow the people of Israel to possess the land according to their tribes.
9 Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel, remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and righteousness, take away your exactions from my people, said the Lord GOD.
9 “ ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You have gone far enough, princes of Israel! Give up your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Stop dispossessing my people, declares the Sovereign LORD.
10 Ye shall have just balances and a just ephah and a just bath.
10 You are to use accurate scales, an accurate ephah and an accurate bath.
11 The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of an homer, and the ephah the tenth part of an homer: the measure thereof shall be after the homer.
11 The ephah and the bath are to be the same size, the bath containing a tenth of a homer and the ephah a tenth of a homer; the homer is to be the standard measure for both.

14 The ordinance concerning the oil shall be that ye shall offer a bath of oil, which is the tenth part of the cor, which is an homer of ten baths; for ten baths are an homer:

15 and one female lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a sacrifice, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for you, said the Lord GOD.
15 Also one sheep is to be taken from every flock of two hundred from the well-watered pastures of Israel. These will be used for the grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the people, declares the Sovereign LORD.
16 All the people of the land shall give this oblation for the prince in Israel.
16 All the people of the land will be required to give this special offering to the prince in Israel.
17 And it shall be the prince’s part to give the burnt offering and the sacrifice and the drink offering in the solemnities and in the new moons and in the sabbaths in all the feasts of the house of Israel: he shall offer the sin, and the present and the burnt offering and the peace offerings to reconcile the house of Israel.
17 It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings at the festivals, the New Moons and the Sabbaths—at all the appointed festivals of Israel. 19 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin and put it upon the posts of the house and upon the four corners of the patio of the altar and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.
19 The priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar and on the gateposts of the inner court.
20 And so thou shalt do until the seventh day of the month for each one that errs, and for him that is deceived; so shall ye reconcile the house.
20 You are to do the same on the seventh day of the month for anyone who sins unintentionally or through ignorance; so you are to make atonement for the temple.

23 And in all seven days of the solemnity he shall prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, seven calves and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a he goat daily as sin.
23 Every day during the seven days of the festival he is to provide seven bulls and seven rams without defect as a burnt offering to the LORD, and a male goat for a sin offering.
24 And he shall prepare a present of an ephah of fine flour for a calf, and an ephah with every ram, and for every ephah a hin of oil.
24 He is to provide as a grain offering an ephah for each bull and an ephah for each ram, along with a hin of olive oil for each ephah.
25 In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, he shall offer again in the feast of the seven days, the sin, the burnt offering, the present, and the oil.
25 “ ‘During the seven days of the festival, which begins in the seventh month on the fifteenth day, he is to make the same provision for sin offerings, burnt offerings, grain offerings and oil.
