1 Y la mano del SEÑOR fue sobre mí, y me sacó en <I>el</I> Espíritu del SEÑOR, y me puso en medio de un campo que estaba lleno de huesos.

The hand of the LORD was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.
2 Y me hizo pasar cerca de ellos por todo alrededor; y he aquí que eran muchísimos sobre la faz del campo, y por cierto secos en gran manera.

He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.
3 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, ¿vivirán estos huesos? Y dije: Señor DIOS, tú lo sabes.

He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know.”
4 Me dijo entonces: Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: Huesos secos, oíd Palabra del SEÑOR.

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
5 Así dijo el Señor DIOS a estos huesos: He aquí, yo hago entrar espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis.

This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
6 Y pondré nervios sobre vosotros, y haré subir sobre vosotros carne, y os cubriré de piel, y pondré en vosotros espíritu, y viviréis; y sabréis que yo <I>soy</I> el SEÑOR.

I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’ ”
7 Profeticé, pues, como me fue mandado; y hubo un estruendo mientras yo profetizaba, y he aquí un temblor; y los huesos se llegaron cada hueso a su hueso.

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8 Y miré, y he aquí nervios sobre ellos, y la carne subió, y la piel cubrió por encima de ellos; mas no había en ellos espíritu.

I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Y me dijo: Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di al espíritu: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: Espíritu, ven de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’ ”
10 Y profeticé como me había mandado, y entró espíritu en ellos, y vivieron, y estuvieron sobre sus pies, un ejército grande en extremo.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
11 Me dijo luego: Hijo de hombre, todos estos huesos son la Casa de Israel. He aquí, ellos dicen: Nuestros huesos se secaron, y pereció nuestra esperanza, y en nosotros mismos somos <I>del todo</I> talados.

Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’
12 Por tanto, profetiza, y diles: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí, yo abro vuestros sepulcros, y os haré subir de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío, y os traeré a la tierra de Israel.

Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
13 Y sabréis que yo <I>soy</I> el SEÑOR, cuando abriere vuestros sepulcros, y os sacare de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío.

Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.
14 Y pondré mi Espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis, y <I>yo</I> os haré reposar sobre vuestra tierra; y sabréis que yo, el SEÑOR, hablé, y <I>lo</I> hice, dijo el SEÑOR.

I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.’ ”
15 Y vino Palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo:

The word of the LORD came to me:
16 Tú, hijo de hombre, tómate ahora un palo, y escribe en él: A Judá, y a los hijos de Israel sus compañeros. Toma después otro palo, y escribe en él: A José, palo de Efraín, y a toda la Casa de Israel sus compañeros.

“Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, ‘Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, ‘Belonging to Joseph (that is, to Ephraim) and all the Israelites associated with him.’
17 Júntalos luego el uno con el otro, para que sean en uno, y serán uno en tu mano.

Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.
18 Y cuando te hablaren los hijos de tu pueblo, diciendo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué te <I>significan</I> estas cosas?

“When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you tell us what you mean by this?’
19 Diles: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí, yo tomo el palo de José que está en la mano de Efraín, y a las tribus de Israel sus compañeros, y <I>yo</I> los pondré con él, con el palo de Judá, y los haré un palo, y serán uno en mi mano.

say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph—which is in Ephraim’s hand—and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah’s stick. I will make them into a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.’
20 Y los palos sobre <I>los</I> que escribieres, estarán en tu mano delante de sus ojos;

Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on
21 y les dirás: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí, yo tomo a los hijos de Israel de entre los gentiles a los cuales fueron, y los juntaré de todas partes, y los traeré a su tierra;

and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land.
22 y los haré una nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel; y un rey será a todos ellos por rey; y nunca más serán dos naciones, ni nunca más serán divididos en dos reinos;

I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms.
23 nunca más se contaminarán con sus ídolos, y con sus abominaciones, y con todas sus rebeliones; y los salvaré de todas sus habitaciones en las cuales pecaron, y <I>yo</I> los limpiaré; y me serán por pueblo, y yo a ellos por Dios.

They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
24 Y mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos, y a todos ellos será un pastor; y andarán en mis derechos, y mis ordenanzas guardarán, y las pondrán por obra.

“ ‘My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees.
25 Y habitarán en la tierra que di a mi siervo Jacob, en la cual habitaron vuestros padres, en ella habitarán ellos, y sus hijos, y los hijos de sus hijos para siempre; y mi siervo David les será príncipe para siempre.

They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever.
26 Y concertaré con ellos pacto de paz, pacto perpetuo será con ellos; y <I>yo</I> los plantaré, y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi Santuario entre ellos para siempre.

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever.
27 Y estará en ellos mi Tabernáculo, y seré a ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán por pueblo.

My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.
28 Y sabrán los gentiles que yo, el SEÑOR, santifico a Israel, estando mi Santuario entre ellos para siempre.

Then the nations will know that I the LORD make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.’ ”
