Galatians 1:18-24

RSV 18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas, and remained with him fifteen days. NIV 18 Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted with Peter and stayed with him fifteen days. RSV 19 But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord's brother. NIV 19 I saw none of the other apostles--only James, the Lord's brother. RSV 20 (In what I am writing to you, before God, I do not lie!) NIV 20 I assure you before God that what I am writing you is no lie. RSV 21 Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cili'cia. NIV 21 Later I went to Syria and Cilicia. RSV 22 And I was still not known by sight to the churches of Christ in Judea; NIV 22 I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. RSV 23 they only heard it said, "He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy." NIV 23 They only heard the report: "The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy." RSV 24 And they glorified God because of me. NIV 24 And they praised God because of me.
