Galatians 5:1-6

BBE 1 Christ has truly made us free: then keep your free condition and let no man put a yoke on you again. NIV 1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. BBE 2 See, I Paul say to you, that if you undergo circumcision, Christ will be of no use to you. NIV 2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. BBE 3 Yes, I give witness again to every man who undergoes circumcision, that he will have to keep all the law. NIV 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. BBE 4 You are cut off from Christ, you who would have righteousness by the law; you are turned away from grace. NIV 4 You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. BBE 5 For we through the Spirit by faith are waiting for the hope of righteousness. NIV 5 But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope. BBE 6 Because in Christ Jesus, having circumcision or not having circumcision are equally of no profit; but only faith working through love. NIV 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
