CEB 1 These are the descendants of Esau, that is, Edom. NIV 1 This is the account of Esau (that is, Edom). CEB 2 Esau married Canaanite women: Adah the daughter of the Hittite Elon; Oholibamah the daughter of Anah son of the Hittite Zibeon, NIV 2 Esau took his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon the Hivite-- CEB 3 and Basemath the daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth. NIV 3 also Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth. CEB 4 Adah gave birth to Eliphaz for Esau, Basemath gave birth to Reuel, NIV 4 Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel, CEB 5 and Oholibamah gave birth to Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are Esau's sons born to him in the land of Canaan. NIV 5 and Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These were the sons of Esau, who were born to him in Canaan. CEB 6 Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and everyone in his household, and his livestock, all of his animals, and all of the property he had acquired in the land of Canaan; and he moved away from the land of Canaan and from his brother Jacob. NIV 6 Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock and all his other animals and all the goods he had acquired in Canaan, and moved to a land some distance from his brother Jacob. This is the Anah who discovered the hot springs in the desert while he was grazing the donkeys of his father Zibeon. CEB 25 These are Anah's children: Dishon and Anah's daughter Oholibamah.
