Genesis 8:1-6

DBY 1 And God remembered Noah, and all the animals, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. NIV 1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. DBY 2 And the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were closed, and the pour of rain from heaven was stopped. NIV 2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky. DBY 3 And the waters retired from the earth, continually retiring; and in the course of a hundred and fifty days the waters abated. NIV 3 The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down, DBY 4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. NIV 4 and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. DBY 5 And the waters abated continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen. NIV 5 The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible. DBY 6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made. NIV 6 After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark
