16 Mas agora desejam uma pátria melhor, isto é, a celestial. Pelo que também Deus não se envergonha deles, de ser chamado seu Deus, porque já lhes preparou uma cidade.

Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
