Hebrews 3:12-19

NAS 12 Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. NIV 12 See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. NAS 13 But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. NIV 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. NAS 14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, NIV 14 We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. NAS 15 while it is said, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS, AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME." NIV 15 As has just been said: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion." NAS 16 For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? NIV 16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? NAS 17 And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? NIV 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert? NAS 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? NIV 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed ? NAS 19 So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief. NIV 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.
