1 Ik ben in Mijn hof gekomen, o Mijn zuster, o bruid! Ik heb Mijn mirre geplukt met Mijn specerij; Ik heb Mijn honigraten met Mijn honig gegeten; Ik heb Mijn wijn, mitsgaders Mijn melk gedronken. Eet, vrienden! drinkt, en wordt dronken, o liefsten!
1 I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey; I have drunk my wine and my milk. Eat, friends, and drink; drink your fill of love.
