20 Nu dan, hoor toch, o mijn heer koning! laat toch mijn smeking voor uw aangezicht nedervallen, en breng mij niet weder in het huis van Jonathan, den schrijver, opdat ik aldaar niet sterve.
20 But now, my lord the king, please listen. Let me bring my petition before you: Do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the secretary, or I will die there.”
