6 Zie, gij vertrouwt op dien gebrokenen rietstaf, op Egypte; op denwelken zo iemand leunt, zo zal hij in zijn hand gaan en die doorboren; alzo is Farao, de koning van Egypte, al dengenen, die op hem vertrouwen.
6 Look, I know you are depending on Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff, which pierces the hand of anyone who leans on it! Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who depend on him.
