9 Daarom is het recht verre van ons, en de gerechtigheid achterhaalt ons niet; wij wachten op het licht, maar ziet, er is duisternis, op een groten glans, maar wij wandelen in donkerheden.
9 So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.
