5 Y acontecía que, habiendo pasado en turno los días del convite, Job enviaba y los santificaba, y se levantaba de mañana y ofrecía holocaustos <I>conforme</I> al número de todos ellos. Porque decía Job: Por ventura habrán pecado mis hijos, y habrán blasfemado a Dios en sus corazones. De esta manera hacía Job todos los días.

When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.
