14 Alors ils crièrent à l'Éternel, et dirent: O Éternel! que nous ne périssions pas à cause de la vie de cet homme, et ne mets point sur nous le sang innocent! Car toi, ô Éternel, tu fais comme il te plaît.

Then they cried out to the LORD, “Please, LORD, do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, LORD, have done as you pleased.”
