Jude 1:16-25

NAS 16 These are grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining an advantage. NIV 16 These men are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. NAS 17 But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, NIV 17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. NAS 18 that they were saying to you, "In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts." NIV 18 They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." NAS 19 These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. NIV 19 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. NAS 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, NIV 20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. NAS 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. NIV 21 Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. NAS 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; NIV 22 Be merciful to those who doubt; NAS 23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh. NIV 23 snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. NAS 24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, NIV 24 To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy-- NAS 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord , be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. NIV 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
