Lamentations 3:17-27

RSV 17 my soul is bereft of peace, I have forgotten what happiness is; NIV 17 I have been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is. RSV 18 so I say, "Gone is my glory, and my expectation from the LORD." NIV 18 So I say, "My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the LORD."
