1 Rescate de las ofrendas ofrecidas al Señor<br />El Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

2 «Da las siguientes instrucciones al pueblo de Israel: si uno de ustedes hace un voto especial para dedicar a alguien al Señor<br /> mediante el pago del valor de esa persona,

3 esta es la escala de valores que emplearán. Un hombre de entre veinte y sesenta años tendrá el valor de cincuenta siclos<br /> de plata, según el siclo del santuario.

4 Una mujer de esa edad tendrá el valor de treinta siclos<br /> de plata.

5 Un joven de entre cinco y veinte años tendrá el valor de veinte siclos de plata; una joven de esa edad, diez siclos<br /> de plata.

6 Un niño de entre un mes de edad y cinco años tendrá el valor de cinco siclos de plata; una niña de esa edad, tres siclos<br /> de plata.

7 Un hombre de más de sesenta años tendrá el valor de quince siclos de plata; una mujer de esa edad, diez siclos<br /> de plata.

8 Si deseas hacer esa clase de voto, pero no te alcanza para pagar la cantidad requerida, lleva a la persona al sacerdote. Él determinará la cantidad que debes pagar de acuerdo a tus posibilidades.

9 »Si el voto implica dar un animal aceptable como una ofrenda al Señor<br />, toda ofrenda al Señor<br /> será considerada santa.

10 No se te permite cambiarlo o sustituirlo por otro animal, ya sea un animal bueno por uno malo o uno malo por uno bueno. Pero si cambias un animal por otro, entonces tanto el primer animal como el sustituto se considerarán santos.

16 »Si alguno le dedica al Señor<br /> una porción de su propiedad familiar, el valor será determinado de acuerdo con la cantidad de semilla que se necesita para sembrarla: cincuenta siclos de plata para un campo sembrado con doscientos veinte kilos de semilla de cebada.

17 Si se dedica el campo al Señor<br /> en el año de jubileo, entonces será aplicable la valoración total.

18 Pero si dedican el campo después del año de jubileo, el sacerdote hará el cálculo del valor del terreno en proporción con el número de años que falte para el siguiente año de jubileo. Su valor calculado se reduce cada año.

19 Si la persona que dedicó el campo desea volver a comprarlo, tendrá que pagar el valor fijado por el sacerdote, más un veinte por ciento. Entonces el campo volverá a ser suyo legalmente.

20 Pero si no desea volver a comprarlo, y el campo se vende a otro, ya no se podrá recuperar.

21 Cuando el campo quede libre en el año de jubileo, este será santo, un campo especialmente apartado<br /> para el Señor<br /> y llegará a ser propiedad de los sacerdotes.

22 »Si alguien le dedica al Señor<br /> algún campo que haya comprado, pero que no es parte de su propiedad familiar,

23 el sacerdote establecerá su valor basado en el número de años que falten hasta el siguiente año de jubileo. Ese mismo día, tendrá que dar el valor del campo como un donativo sagrado al Señor<br />.

24 En el año de jubileo el campo tendrá que ser devuelto al que lo vendió, la persona que lo heredó como una propiedad familiar.

25 (Todos los pagos se harán calculados según el peso del siclo del santuario,<br /> que equivale a veinte geras).

26 »No se te permite dedicarle al Señor<br /> el primogénito de los animales, porque la primera cría del ganado, de las ovejas y de las cabras ya le pertenece al Señor<br />.

27 Sin embargo, podrás volver a comprar el primogénito de un animal ceremonialmente impuro al pagar el valor establecido por el sacerdote, más un veinte por ciento. Si no lo vuelves a comprar, el sacerdote lo venderá por el precio establecido.

28 »No obstante, todo lo que se haya apartado especialmente para el Señor<br /> —ya sea una persona, un animal o una propiedad familiar— nunca deberá ser vendido ni rescatado. Todo lo que se consagre de esta manera ha sido apartado como santo y le pertenece al Señor<br />.

29 Ninguna persona apartada especialmente para destrucción podrá ser rescatada. Esa persona será ejecutada.

30 »La décima parte de los productos de la tierra, ya sea grano de los campos o fruto de los árboles, le pertenece al Señor<br /> y debe ser apartada, es santa para el Señor<br />.

31 Si deseas volver a comprar esa décima parte del grano o de la fruta que pertenece al Señor<br />, tendrás que pagar su valor, más un veinte por ciento.

32 Cuenta uno de cada diez animales de tus manadas y rebaños, sepáralo, es santo para el Señor<br />.

33 No podrás ser exigente entre animales buenos y malos, y no podrás sustituir uno por otro. Pero si intercambias un animal por otro, tanto el primer animal como el sustituto serán considerados santos y no podrás comprarlos de nuevo».

1 The LORD said to Moses,

2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate a person to the LORD by giving the equivalent value,

3 set the value of a male between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel ;

4 for a female, set her value at thirty shekels ;

5 for a person between the ages of five and twenty, set the value of a male at twenty shekels and of a female at ten shekels ;

6 for a person between one month and five years, set the value of a male at five shekels of silver and that of a female at three shekels of silver;

7 for a person sixty years old or more, set the value of a male at fifteen shekels and of a female at ten shekels.

8 If anyone making the vow is too poor to pay the specified amount, the person being dedicated is to be presented to the priest, who will set the value according to what the one making the vow can afford.

9 “ ‘If what they vowed is an animal that is acceptable as an offering to the LORD, such an animal given to the LORD becomes holy.

10 They must not exchange it or substitute a good one for a bad one, or a bad one for a good one; if they should substitute one animal for another, both it and the substitute become holy.

11 If what they vowed is a ceremonially unclean animal—one that is not acceptable as an offering to the LORD—the animal must be presented to the priest,

12 who will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, that is what it will be.

13 If the owner wishes to redeem the animal, a fifth must be added to its value.

14 “ ‘If anyone dedicates their house as something holy to the LORD, the priest will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, so it will remain.

15 If the one who dedicates their house wishes to redeem it, they must add a fifth to its value, and the house will again become theirs.

16 “ ‘If anyone dedicates to the LORD part of their family land, its value is to be set according to the amount of seed required for it—fifty shekels of silver to a homer of barley seed.

17 If they dedicate a field during the Year of Jubilee, the value that has been set remains.

18 But if they dedicate a field after the Jubilee, the priest will determine the value according to the number of years that remain until the next Year of Jubilee, and its set value will be reduced.

19 If the one who dedicates the field wishes to redeem it, they must add a fifth to its value, and the field will again become theirs.

20 If, however, they do not redeem the field, or if they have sold it to someone else, it can never be redeemed.

21 When the field is released in the Jubilee, it will become holy, like a field devoted to the LORD; it will become priestly property.

22 “ ‘If anyone dedicates to the LORD a field they have bought, which is not part of their family land,

23 the priest will determine its value up to the Year of Jubilee, and the owner must pay its value on that day as something holy to the LORD.

24 In the Year of Jubilee the field will revert to the person from whom it was bought, the one whose land it was.

25 Every value is to be set according to the sanctuary shekel, twenty gerahs to the shekel.

26 “ ‘No one, however, may dedicate the firstborn of an animal, since the firstborn already belongs to the LORD; whether an ox or a sheep, it is the LORD’s.

27 If it is one of the unclean animals, it may be bought back at its set value, adding a fifth of the value to it. If it is not redeemed, it is to be sold at its set value.

28 “ ‘But nothing that a person owns and devotes to the LORD—whether a human being or an animal or family land—may be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy to the LORD.

29 “ ‘No person devoted to destruction may be ransomed; they are to be put to death.

30 “ ‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.

31 Whoever would redeem any of their tithe must add a fifth of the value to it.

32 Every tithe of the herd and flock—every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd’s rod—will be holy to the LORD.

33 No one may pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If anyone does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.’ ”

34 These are the commands the LORD gave Moses at Mount Sinai for the Israelites.
