14 Der Synagogenvorsteher aber, unwillig, daß Jesus am Sabbath heilte, hob an und sprach zu der Volksmenge: Sechs Tage sind es, an denen man arbeiten soll; an diesen nun kommt und laßt euch heilen, und nicht am Tage des Sabbaths.

Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue leader said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.”
