Luke 13:1-6

NRS 1 At that very time there were some present who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. NIV 1 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. NRS 2 He asked them, "Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were worse sinners than all other Galileans? NIV 2 Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? NRS 3 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish as they did. NIV 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. NRS 4 Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam fell on them—do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others living in Jerusalem? NIV 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them--do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? NRS 5 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish just as they did." NIV 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish." NRS 6 Then he told this parable: "A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and found none.
