Luke 23:1-6

NCV 1 Then the whole group stood up and led Jesus to Pilate. NIV 1 Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate. NCV 2 They began to accuse Jesus, saying, "We caught this man telling things that mislead our people. He says that we should not pay taxes to Caesar, and he calls himself the Christ, a king." NIV 2 And they began to accuse him, saying, "We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Christ, a king." NCV 3 Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the king of the Jews?" Jesus answered, "Those are your words." NIV 3 So Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the king of the Jews?" "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. NCV 4 Pilate said to the leading priests and the people, "I find nothing against this man. NIV 4 Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, "I find no basis for a charge against this man." NCV 5 They were insisting, saying, "But Jesus makes trouble with the people, teaching all around Judea. He began in Galilee, and now he is here." NIV 5 But they insisted, "He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here." NCV 6 Pilate heard this and asked if Jesus was from Galilee. NIV 6 On hearing this, Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean.
