8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham <em>for our</em> father; for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.
