Malachi 3:6-12

CSB 6 "Because I, Yahweh, have not changed, you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed. NIV 6 "I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. CSB 7 "Since the days of your fathers, you have turned from My statutes; you have not kept [them]. Return to Me, and I will return to you," says the Lord of Hosts. But you ask: "How can we return?" NIV 7 Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says the LORD Almighty. "But you ask, 'How are we to return?' CSB 8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me!" You ask: "How do we rob You?" "[By not making the payments] of 10 percent and the contributions. NIV 8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' "In tithes and offerings. CSB 9 You are suffering under a curse, yet you-the whole nation-are [still] robbing Me. NIV 9 You are under a curse--the whole nation of you--because you are robbing me. CSB 10 Bring the full 10 percent into the storehouse so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this way," says the Lord of Hosts. "See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure. NIV 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. CSB 11 I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not ruin the produce of your ground, and your vine in your field will not be barren," says the Lord of Hosts. NIV 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit," says the LORD Almighty. CSB 12 "Then all the nations will consider you fortunate, for you will be a delightful land," says the Lord of Hosts. NIV 12 "Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land," says the LORD Almighty.
