NRS 1 When the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. NRS 2 And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. NRS 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him, just as he told you." " NRS 8 So they went out and fled from the tomb, for terror and amazement had seized them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. NRS 15 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. NIV 15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. NRS 16 The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned. NIV 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. NRS 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: by using my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; NIV 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; NRS 18 they will pick up snakes in their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." NIV 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." NRS 19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
