23 E quando fu venuto nel tempio, i capi sacerdoti e gli anziani del popolo si accostarono a lui, mentr’egli insegnava, e gli dissero: Con quale autorità fai tu queste cose? E chi t’ha data codesta autorità?

Jesus entered the temple courts, and, while he was teaching, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him. “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you this authority?”
