NRS 18 "Here is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. NIV 18 "Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. NRS 19 He will not wrangle or cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets. NIV 19 He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. NRS 20 He will not break a bruised reed or quench a smoldering wick until he brings justice to victory. NIV 20 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory. NRS 21 And in his name the Gentiles will hope." NRS 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, "It is only by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons, that this fellow casts out the demons." NIV 24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "It is only by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons." NRS 25 He knew what they were thinking and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. NIV 25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. NRS 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? NIV 26 If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? NRS 27 If I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your own exorcists cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. NIV 27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. NRS 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come to you. NIV 28 But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
