Matthew 18:15-20

CEB 15 "If your brother or sister sins against you, go and correct them when you are alone together. If they listen to you, then you've won over your brother or sister. NRS 15 "If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one. CEB 16 But if they won't listen, take with you one or two others so that every word may be established by the mouth of two or three witnesses. NRS 16 But if you are not listened to, take one or two others along with you, so that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses. CEB 17 But if they still won't pay attention, report it to the church. If they won't pay attention even to the church, treat them as you would a Gentile and tax collector. NRS 17 If the member refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. CEB 18 I assure you that whatever you fasten on earth will be fastened in heaven. And whatever you loosen on earth will be loosened in heaven. NRS 18 Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. CEB 19 Again I assure you that if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, then my Father who is in heaven will do it for you. NRS 19 Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. CEB 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, I'm there with them." NRS 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."
