Matthew 28:1-7

KJV 1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. NIV 1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. KJV 2 And, behold , there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. NIV 2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. KJV 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: NIV 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. KJV 4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake , and became as dead men. NIV 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. KJV 5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified . NIV 5 The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. KJV 6 He is not here: for he is risen , as he said . Come , see the place where the Lord lay . NIV 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. KJV 7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold , he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo , I have told you. NIV 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."
