34 After the number of the days in which ye spied out the land, <em>even</em> forty days, each day for a year, ye shall bear your iniquities forty years, and ye shall know my reason <em>for annulling my promise</em>.
34 For forty years—one year for each of the forty days you explored the land—you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.’
