Numbers 20:22-29

KJV 22 And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor. NIV 22 The whole Israelite community set out from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor. KJV 23 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying , NIV 23 At Mount Hor, near the border of Edom, the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, KJV 24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah. NIV 24 "Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I give the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah. KJV 25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor: NIV 25 Get Aaron and his son Eleazar and take them up Mount Hor. KJV 26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there. NIV 26 Remove Aaron's garments and put them on his son Eleazar, for Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will die there." KJV 27 And Moses did as the LORD commanded : and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. NIV 27 Moses did as the LORD commanded: They went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community. KJV 28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount. NIV 28 Moses removed Aaron's garments and put them on his son Eleazar. And Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain, KJV 29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead , they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel. NIV 29 and when the whole community learned that Aaron had died, the entire house of Israel mourned for him thirty days.
