Numbers 21:10-20

RSV 10 And the people of Israel set out, and encamped in Oboth. NIV 10 The Israelites moved on and camped at Oboth. RSV 11 And they set out from Oboth, and encamped at I'ye-ab'arim, in the wilderness which is opposite Moab, toward the sunrise. NIV 11 Then they set out from Oboth and camped in Iye Abarim, in the desert that faces Moab toward the sunrise. RSV 12 From there they set out, and encamped in the Valley of Zered. NIV 12 From there they moved on and camped in the Zered Valley. RSV 13 From there they set out, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness, that extends from the boundary of the Amorites; for the Arnon is the boundary of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites. NIV 13 They set out from there and camped alongside the Arnon, which is in the desert extending into Amorite territory. The Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites. RSV 14 Wherefore it is said in the Book of the Wars of the LORD, "Waheb in Suphah, and the valleys of the Arnon, NIV 14 That is why the Book of the Wars of the LORD says: ". . . Waheb in Suphah and the ravines, the Arnon RSV 15 and the slope of the valleys that extends to the seat of Ar, and leans to the border of Moab."
