GNT 1 The Lord commanded Moses NIV 1 The LORD said to Moses, GNT 2 to instruct the Israelites to present to God at the appointed times the required food offerings that are pleasing to him. NIV 2 "Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'See that you present to me at the appointed time the food for my offerings made by fire, as an aroma pleasing to me.' GNT 3 These are the food offerings that are to be presented to the Lord: for the daily burnt offering, two one-year-old male lambs without any defects. NIV 3 Say to them: 'This is the offering made by fire that you are to present to the LORD: two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day. GNT 4 Offer the first lamb in the morning, and the second in the evening, NIV 4 Prepare one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight, GNT 5 each with a grain offering of 2 pounds of flour, mixed with 2 pints of the best olive oil. NIV 5 together with a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives. GNT 6 This is the daily offering that is completely burned, which was first offered at Mount Sinai as a food offering, an odor pleasing to the Lord. NIV 6 This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire. GNT 7 As the wine offering with the first lamb, pour out at the altar 2 pints of wine. NIV 7 The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sanctuary. GNT 8 In the evening offer the second lamb in the same way as the morning offering, together with its wine offering. It also is a food offering, an odor pleasing to the Lord. NIV 8 Prepare the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you prepare in the morning. This is an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. GNT 9 On the Sabbath day offer two one-year-old male lambs without any defects, 4 pounds of flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering, and the wine offering. NIV 9 " 'On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. GNT 10 This burnt offering is to be offered every Sabbath in addition to the daily offering with its wine offering. NIV 10 This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. GNT 11 Present a burnt offering to the Lord at the beginning of each month: two young bulls, one ram, seven one-year-old male lambs, all without any defects. NIV 11 " 'On the first of every month, present to the LORD a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect. GNT 12 As a grain offering, offer flour mixed with olive oil: with each bull, 6 pounds of flour; with the ram, 4 pounds; NIV 12 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; GNT 13 and with each lamb, 2 pounds. These burnt offerings are food offerings, an odor pleasing to the Lord. NIV 13 and with each lamb, a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire. GNT 14 The proper wine offering is 4 pints of wine with each bull, 3 pints with the ram, and 2 pints with each lamb. This is the regulation for the burnt offering for the first day of each month throughout the year. NIV 14 With each bull there is to be a drink offering of half a hin of wine; with the ram, a third of a hin; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon during the year. GNT 15 And in addition to the daily burnt offering with its wine offering, offer one male goat as a sin offering. NIV 15 Besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering, one male goat is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering. GNT 16 The Passover Festival in honor of the Lord is to be held on the fourteenth day of the first month. NIV 16 " 'On the fourteenth day of the first month the LORD's Passover is to be held. GNT 17 On the fifteenth day a religious festival begins which lasts seven days, during which only bread prepared without yeast is to be eaten. NIV 17 On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days eat bread made without yeast. GNT 18 On the first day of the festival you are to gather for worship, and no work is to be done. NIV 18 On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. GNT 19 Offer a burnt offering as a food offering to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs, all without any defects. NIV 19 Present to the LORD an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect. GNT 20 Offer the proper grain offering of flour mixed with olive oil: 6 pounds with each bull, 4 pounds with the ram, NIV 20 With each bull prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths; GNT 21 and 2 pounds with each lamb. NIV 21 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth. GNT 22 Also offer one male goat as a sin offering, and in this way perform the ritual of purification for the people. NIV 22 Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you. GNT 23 Offer these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering. NIV 23 Prepare these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering. GNT 24 In the same way, for seven days offer to the Lord a food offering, an odor pleasing to him. Offer this in addition to the daily burnt offering and wine offering. NIV 24 In this way prepare the food for the offering made by fire every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the LORD; it is to be prepared in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. GNT 25 Meet for worship on the seventh day and do no work. NIV 25 On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. GNT 26 On the first day of the Harvest Festival, when you present the offering of new grain to the Lord, you are to gather for worship, and no work is to be done. NIV 26 " 'On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the LORD an offering of new grain during the Feast of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. GNT 27 Offer a burnt offering as an odor pleasing to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs, all without any defects. NIV 27 Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. GNT 28 Offer the proper grain offering of flour mixed with olive oil: 6 pounds with each bull, 4 pounds with the ram, NIV 28 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths; GNT 29 and 2 pounds with each lamb. NIV 29 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth. GNT 30 Also offer one male goat as a sin offering, and in this way perform the ritual of purification for the people.
