Philippians 1:27-30

LEB 27 Only lead your lives in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent I hear {your circumstances}, that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one soul contending side by side for the faith of the gospel, NIV 27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel LEB 28 and not letting yourselves be intimidated in anything by your opponents, which is a sign of destruction to them, but of your salvation, and this from God, NIV 28 without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God. LEB 29 because to you has been graciously granted on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on behalf of him, NIV 29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him, LEB 30 having the same struggle which you saw in me and now hear about in me. NIV 30 since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.
