Philippians 1:3-11

CEB 3 I thank my God every time I mention you in my prayers. NRS 3 I thank my God every time I remember you, CEB 4 I'm thankful for all of you every time I pray, and it's always a prayer full of joy. NRS 4 constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you, CEB 5 I'm glad because of the way you have been my partners in the ministry of the gospel from the time you first believed it until now. NRS 5 because of your sharing in the gospel from the first day until now. CEB 6 I'm sure about this: the one who started a good work in you will stay with you to complete the job by the day of Christ Jesus. NRS 6 I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ. CEB 7 I have good reason to think this way about all of you because I keep you in my heart. You are all my partners in God's grace, both during my time in prison and in the defense and support of the gospel. NRS 7 It is right for me to think this way about all of you, because you hold me in your heart, for all of you share in God's grace with me, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. CEB 8 God is my witness that I feel affection for all of you with the compassion of Christ Jesus. NRS 8 For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the compassion of Christ Jesus. CEB 9 This is my prayer: that your love might become even more and more rich with knowledge and all kinds of insight. NRS 9 And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight CEB 10 I pray this so that you will be able to decide what really matters and so you will be sincere and blameless on the day of Christ. NRS 10 to help you to determine what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, CEB 11 I pray that you will then be filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from Jesus Christ, in order to give glory and praise to God. NRS 11 having produced the harvest of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.
