Proverbs 12

RSVA 1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. NIV 1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. RSVA 2 A good man obtains favor from the LORD, but a man of evil devices he condemns. NIV 2 A good man obtains favor from the LORD, but the LORD condemns a crafty man. RSVA 4 A good wife is the crown of her husband, but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones. RSVA 27 A slothful man will not catch his prey, but the diligent man will get precious wealth. NIV 27 The lazy man does not roast his game, but the diligent man prizes his possessions. RSVA 28 In the path of righteousness is life, but the way of error leads to death. NIV 28 In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality.
