Proverbs 28:20-28

RSV 20 A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. NIV 20 A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished. RSV 21 To show partiality is not good; but for a piece of bread a man will do wrong. NIV 21 To show partiality is not good-- yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread. RSV 22 A miserly man hastens after wealth, and does not know that want will come upon him. NIV 22 A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty awaits him.
