NIV 6 I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins. CEB 7 I lie awake all night. I'm all alone like a bird on a roof. NIV 7 I lie awake; I have become like a bird alone on a roof. CEB 8 All day long my enemies make fun of me; those who mock me curse using my name! NIV 8 All day long my enemies taunt me; those who rail against me use my name as a curse. CEB 9 I've been eating ashes instead of bread. CEB 13 You will stand up— you'll have compassion on Zion because it is time to have mercy on her— the time set for that has now come!
