NCV 1 My whole being, praise the Lord; all my being, praise his holy name. NIV 1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. NCV 2 My whole being, praise the Lord and do not forget all his kindnesses. NIV 2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-- NCV 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. NIV 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, NCV 4 He saves my life from the grave and loads me with love and mercy. NIV 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, NCV 5 He satisfies me with good things and makes me young again, like the eagle. NIV 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. NCV 6 The Lord does what is right and fair for all who are wronged by others. NIV 6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. NCV 7 He showed his ways to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel. NIV 7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: NCV 8 The Lord shows mercy and is kind. He does not become angry quickly, and he has great love. NIV 8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. NCV 9 He will not always accuse us, and he will not be angry forever. NIV 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; NCV 10 He has not punished us as our sins should be punished; he has not repaid us for the evil we have done. NIV 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. NCV 11 As high as the sky is above the earth, so great is his love for those who respect him. NIV 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; NCV 12 He has taken our sins away from us as far as the east is from west. NIV 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. NCV 13 The Lord has mercy on those who respect him, as a father has mercy on his children. NIV 13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; NCV 14 He knows how we were made; he remembers that we are dust. NIV 14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. NCV 15 Human life is like grass; we grow like a flower in the field. NIV 15 As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; NCV 16 After the wind blows, the flower is gone, and there is no sign of where it was. NIV 16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. NCV 17 But the Lord's love for those who respect him continues forever and ever, and his goodness continues to their grandchildren NIV 17 But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-- NCV 18 and to those who keep his agreement and who remember to obey his orders. NIV 18 with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. NCV 19 The Lord has set his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over everything. NIV 19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. NCV 20 You who are his angels, praise the Lord. You are the mighty warriors who do what he says and who obey his voice. NIV 20 Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. NCV 21 You, his armies, praise the Lord; you are his servants who do what he wants. NIV 21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will. NCV 22 Everything the Lord has made should praise him in all the places he rules. My whole being, praise the Lord. NIV 22 Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
