Psalm 108

LEB 1 My heart [is] steadfast, O God. I will sing and give praise, even [with] my glory. NIV 1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul. LEB 2 Awake, harp and lyre. I will awake [the] dawn. NIV 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. LEB 3 I will give you thanks among the peoples, O Yahweh; I will give you praise among the nations, NIV 3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. LEB 4 because your loyal love [is] great above [the] heavens, and your faithfulness [reaches] to [the] clouds. NIV 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. LEB 5 Be exalted above [the] heavens, O God, and [let] your glory [be] above all the earth, NIV 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. LEB 6 so that your beloved ones may be rescued. Save by your right hand and answer me. NIV 6 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. LEB 7 God has spoken in his holiness, "I will exult, I will divide up Shechem, and portion out the valley of Succoth. NIV 7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth. LEB 8 Gilead [is] mine. Manasseh [is] mine. And Ephraim [is] the {helmet for} my head. Judah [is] my scepter; NIV 8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter. LEB 9 Moab [is] my washing pot. Over Edom I will cast my sandal; Over Philistia I will shout in triumph." NIV 9 Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph." LEB 10 Who will bring me to [the] fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? NIV 10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? LEB 11 Have you not rejected us, O God, and not gone out with our armies, O God? NIV 11 Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? LEB 12 Give us help against [the] enemy, for the help of humankind [is] futile. NIV 12 Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. LEB 13 Through God we will do valiantly, and [it is] he [who] will tread down our enemies. NIV 13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
