Psalm 108

YLT 1 A Song, a Psalm of David. Prepared is my heart, O God, I sing, yea, I sing praise, also my honour. NIV 1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul. YLT 2 Awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the dawn. NIV 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. YLT 3 I thank Thee among peoples, O Jehovah, And I praise Thee among the nations. NIV 3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. YLT 4 For great above the heavens [is] Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth. NIV 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. YLT 5 Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour. NIV 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. YLT 6 That Thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save [with] Thy right hand, and answer us. NIV 6 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. YLT 7 God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure, NIV 7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth. YLT 8 Mine [is] Gilead, mine [is] Manasseh, And Ephraim [is] the strength of my head, Judah [is] my lawgiver, NIV 8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter. YLT 9 Moab [is] a pot for my washing, Upon Edom I cast my shoe, Over Philistia I shout habitually. NIV 9 Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph." YLT 10 Who doth bring me in to the fenced city? Who hath led me unto Edom? NIV 10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? YLT 11 Hast not Thou, O God, cast us off? And Thou goest not out, O God, with our hosts! NIV 11 Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? YLT 12 Give to us help from adversity, And vain is the salvation of man. NIV 12 Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. YLT 13 In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries! NIV 13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
