Psalm 119

CSB 1 How happy are those whose way is blameless, who live according to the law of the Lord! NIV 1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD. CSB 2 Happy are those who keep His decrees and seek Him with all their heart. NIV 2 Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. CSB 3 They do nothing wrong; they follow His ways. NIV 3 They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways. CSB 4 You have commanded that Your precepts be diligently kept. NIV 4 You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed. CSB 5 If only my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes! NIV 5 Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! CSB 6 Then I would not be ashamed when I think about all Your commands. NIV 6 Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands. CSB 7 I will praise You with a sincere heart when I learn Your righteous judgments. NIV 7 I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. CSB 8 I will keep Your statutes; never abandon me. NIV 8 I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me. CSB 9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping Your word. NIV 9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. CSB 10 I have sought You with all my heart; don't let me wander from Your commands. NIV 10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. CSB 11 I have treasured Your word in my heart so that I may not sin against You. NIV 28 My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. CSB 29 Keep me from the way of deceit, and graciously give me Your instruction. NIV 83 Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget your decrees. CSB 84 How many days [must] Your servant [wait]? When will You execute judgment on my persecutors? NIV 84 How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors? CSB 85 The arrogant have dug pits for me; they violate Your instruction. NIV 85 The arrogant dig pitfalls for me, contrary to your law. CSB 86 All Your commands are true; people persecute me with lies-help me! NIV 86 All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for men persecute me without cause. CSB 87 They almost ended my life on earth, but I did not abandon Your precepts. NIV 87 They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts. CSB 88 Give me life in accordance with Your faithful love, and I will obey the decree You have spoken. NIV 88 Preserve my life according to your love, and I will obey the statutes of your mouth. CSB 89 Lord, Your word is forever; it is firmly fixed in heaven.
