Psalm 119:140-150

DBY 140 Thy ·word is exceeding pure, and thy servant loveth it. NIV 140 Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them. DBY 141 I am little and despised: thy precepts have I not forgotten. NIV 141 Though I am lowly and despised, I do not forget your precepts. DBY 142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth. NIV 142 Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true. DBY 143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold upon me: thy commandments are my delights. NIV 143 Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands are my delight. DBY 144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is for ever: give me understanding, and I shall live. NIV 144 Your statutes are forever right; give me understanding that I may live. DBY 145 KOPH. I have called with [my] whole heart; answer me, O Jehovah: I will observe thy statutes. NIV 145 I call with all my heart; answer me, O LORD, and I will obey your decrees. DBY 146 I call upon thee; save me, and I will keep thy testimonies. NIV 146 I call out to you; save me and I will keep your statutes. DBY 147 I anticipate the morning-dawn and I cry: I hope in thy word. NIV 147 I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word. DBY 148 Mine eyes anticipate the night-watches, that I may meditate in thy ·word. NIV 148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises. DBY 149 Hear my voice according to thy loving-kindness: O Jehovah, quicken me according to thy judgment. NIV 149 Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your laws. DBY 150 They have drawn nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law. NIV 150 Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.
