Psalm 121

RHE 1 (120-1) I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me. NIV 1 I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? RHE 2 (120-2) My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. NIV 2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. RHE 3 (120-3) May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee. NIV 3 He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber; RHE 4 (120-4) Behold he shall neither slumber nor sleep, that keepeth Israel. NIV 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. RHE 5 (120-5) The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy protection upon thy right hand. NIV 5 The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand; RHE 6 (120-6) The sun shall not burn thee by day: nor the moon by night. NIV 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. RHE 7 (120-7) The Lord keepeth thee from all evil: may the Lord keep thy soul. NIV 7 The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life; RHE 8 (120-8) May the Lord keep thy coming in and thy going out; from henceforth now and for ever. NIV 8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
