HNV 1 <<A Ma`alot Song.>> Those who trust in the LORD are as Mount Tziyon, Which can't be moved, but remains forever. NIV 1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. HNV 2 As the mountains surround Yerushalayim, So the LORD surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore. NIV 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore. HNV 3 For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; So that the righteous won't put forth their hands to iniquity. NIV 3 The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil. HNV 4 Do good, LORD, to those who are good, To those who are upright in their hearts. NIV 4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart. HNV 5 But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Shalom be on Yisra'el.
