Psalm 128

RHE 1 (127-1) <A gradual canticle.> Blessed are all they that fear the Lord: that walk in his ways. NIV 1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in his ways. RHE 2 (127-2) For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee. NIV 2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. RHE 3 (127-3) Thy wife as a fruitful vine, on the sides of thy house. Thy children as olive plants, round about thy table. NIV 3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table. RHE 4 (127-4) Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. NIV 4 Thus is the man blessed who fears the LORD. RHE 5 (127-5) May the Lord bless thee out of Sion: and mayst thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. NIV 5 May the LORD bless you from Zion all the days of your life; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem, RHE 6 (127-6) And mayst thou see thy children’s children, peace upon Israel. NIV 6 and may you live to see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel.
