Psalm 130

LEB 1 Out of [the] depths I call to you, O Yahweh. NIV 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; LEB 2 "O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. NIV 2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. LEB 3 If you, O Yah, should {keep track of} iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? NIV 3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? LEB 4 But with you [is] forgiveness, so that you may be feared." NIV 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. LEB 5 I await Yahweh; my soul awaits, and I wait for his word. NIV 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. LEB 6 My soul [waits] for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning. Yes, [more than] watchmen for the morning. NIV 6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. LEB 7 O Israel, wait for Yahweh. For with Yahweh [there is] loyal love, and with him [there is] abundant redemption. NIV 7 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. LEB 8 And he will redeem Israel from all its iniquities. NIV 8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
